It started with a move

As a teenager I moved from my home country to Germany. Languages had never been my thing before that. I was fairly convinced I simply wasn't built for them.

After the move, German stopped being a choice and became a necessity. Over time it turned into far more than a school subject: a tool for conversation, for independence, for friendships, and for actually arriving somewhere.

That experience is what UDS is built on. I know what the beginning feels like, because I stood there myself.
